Ups and Downs

For the past few months, things have been beyond rough. And when things are finally looking up, part of it comes crumbling down. I pray that the road will get easier, one day. As Mother Theresa said, I know God only gives me things I can handle, but I wish he didn't trust me so much.

I finally got a job. I will be working as a Night Audit at a Comfort Inn. Thanks to a friend who's husband is a manager there. As I am still on my high from that and weary from lack of sleep (I am trying to adjust my body to 3rd shift), the case worker from Job & Family services FINALLY calls me (I have been putting calls into her for over a month) and tells me that 3 fax numbers didn't work and I have to find new ones. I wish she would have told me this a month ago. I have my theories on why this is taking so long and is so difficult, but I will reserve them here.
